Awesome Summer Adventure in Landmannalaugar

I had an awesome summer adventure in Landmannalaugar. In July 2020 I went on an adventure with a group of photographers to Iceland. The main goal of this trip was to visit Landmannalaugar. Landmannalaugar is located in Fjallabak Nature Reserve (“Friðland að Fjallabaki”). Our tour guide Madelon Dielen drove us through rivers and dust roads bringing us to beautiful locations. After my adventure in Iceland in January I wanted a rematch with Iceland.

Snæfellsnes – Gem of the West

In september 2017 I visited Snæfellsnes. The journey started in Amsterdam. We flew September 23 – 2017 to Reykjavik and went on adventure in Snæfellsness in the western part of Iceland.

Snæfellsness is known as “Iceland in Miniature”, because many national sights can be found in this area. The Snæfellsjökull volcano, regarded as one of the symbols of Iceland, is one of these sights that can ben found there. With its height of 1446 m, it is the highest mountain on the peninsula and has a glacier at its peak. We saw waterfalls, the amazing Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), lava fields, andmany more of the beautiful mountainscapes. This peninsula of Iceland is a true GEM OF THE WEST. The Milk Photo Book I made can be found here: GEM OF THE WEST by Richard Paas. An Adobe Spark page can be seen by clicking the picture below.
